What does it cost?
We charge £2 per session plus a one off membership payment of £35 (£25 with our recruiting leaflet)
What do I get for the Membership Payment?
This payment covers the hire / loan of the uniform, leotard and tracksuit; it also goes towards our insurance cost (we are insured through the UKFM). Our troupe leotards are very expensive; they cost around £40 each.
Do I need to pay for anything else?
You will need to buy Jazz shoes or Cougars, your own baton and tights.
Can anyone join?
Yes, The Russellettes welcomes all new members who are willing to learn.
When and where do you meet?
We meet every Monday and Wednesday from 4:45 until 6:45 at the WPA Hall, Nelson Road, Rainham.
What does it cost to enter competitions?
Membership of UKFM and UKBTA costs £3 each member per year plus £3 entry fees for solos and duos and £1 for groups
If I win a solo can I keep the trophy?
Yes all individual trophies belong to the winner. Group trophies belong to the troupe, but we have an annual presentation night where our group winners receive trophies.
